Scanning

Choosing the "Scan Forms" option from the "Scanning" menu brings you to this form:

Fill in the cruise number in YYYYMMDD format.

When the forms are loaded on the scanner, press the "Scan" button. You will see:

as the software sends information to the scanner. When this process is finished, you will see:

The counter will increment with every form scanned. When the batch is finished, press the END button on the scanner to finish the batch.

The scanner will print the cruise number on the form, as well as a form number, which is incremented with each form.

When scanning is finished, you will see a screen that allows you to correct any mistakes on the forms.

Choose "Scanner Setup" from the "Scanning" menu to change scanner settings.
